Meet Shelley Thody

Shelley Thody is a devoted wife, mother, step-mother, and grandmother whose life has been shaped by faith, family, and service.

For 28 years she served as a dedicated teacher in Lac La Biche, pouring her heart into the lives of her students. She now lives in beautiful West Kelowna, British Columbia, where she actively attends and volunteers at Emmanuel Church.

Her first book, Melancholy, Mania and Miracles, was published in 2012 and chronicles her deeply personal journey through bipolar disorder — a story rooted in hope, healing, and God's unfailing love.
